During pregnancy, the body goes through numerous changes. While reorienting to an evolving and changing body, this can cause physical and mental stress. Prenatal yoga is a nurturing practice to help balance the body and mind, assisting in a mother’s integration during and after pregnancy.
Prenatal yoga focuses on specific poses for pregnant women that support their strength and flexibility. Additionally, this mind-body practice can encourage a development of supportive breathing and relaxation techniques, which prepare a mother for the time of labor.
This training will greatly assist your own pregnancy journey, or equip you with the knowledge to guide other mamas and greatly support their journeys with this practice.
This training is for…
Yoga Teachers
Doulas
Midwives
Integrative Healers
Students looking to deepen their own practice
Your Instructor: Francesca Paretta
As a birth and postpartum doula, Frankie is extremely passionate about supporting people in cultivating a sense of balanced wellness within their lives – yoga is an essential pillar in creating that harmony. For over a decade, yoga has served that exact purpose in Frankie’s personal life. Since 2017 she has completed 430 hours of trainings, and in 2021 she received a Master’s in Integral Health. Her education has allowed her to understand the mind-body-spirit relationship at a scientific level, while her yoga practice has provided the container for those philosophies to be lived first-hand. Frankie’s classes orient around this type of embodied wisdom and place a focus on regulating the nervous system, pacifying the heart + mind, and aligning the Self with the higher teaching of the traditions of yoga
