nikki rae bose

Nikki Rae Bose is the creative mind behind reUnify Yoga. Originally from Chicago, she moved to SD 15 years ago, fell in love with one of her greatest teachers through the magic of surfing-- the Ocean-- and committed to creating a life here.

She has over 500 hours of training, with thousands of hours of teaching experience. She's been teaching asana since 2012, pranayama since 2017, and leading yoga teacher trainings that have a strong focus on philosophy, breathwork and authentic voice expression, since 2019.

She has this earth and ocean mama vibe out her— a deep raspy voice that connects everyone to their roots but a playful energetic pulse that ebbs and flows between crack-your-heart-open philosophy and cracking jokes. Being a new mom, she has a way of holding a maternal container that gives you the space to explore your own inner happenings (however emotional or neutral), and permission to follow what your body needs.

What can you expect from her classes? Feeling like we're all in this together, a reminder that life is some sort of cosmic giggle to learn a little something from, and an opportunity to integrate traditional yoga philosophy with & through physical movement.

rusti gilbert

Rusti's journey with yoga as her map, began just over 6 years ago. At that time, her understanding of yoga was merely the asana practice and she was pretty intimidated to open her mind and heart to even that! What she has learned along the way, with the help of some pretty special teachers, is the importance of not only the physical practice, but the non-physical--- the mind, the breath and the intention in all aspects of life. As a teacher, her heart lies in creating a space for others to dive into their own intentions, their breath, and to live the best version of themselves inside & outside of the studio walls.

As a student, she is constantly curious and continues to dedicate her self to improving, both physically and mentally.

Through the connection of breath, body, and spirit, students may begin to balance the self amidst the subtle and overt aspects of what looks to hook their attention. She puts this into action by guiding students with tranquility, intentions, and love so that they, with their own intuition, can return to a sense of clarity and peace.

When she’s not teaching or studying yoga, Nati is helping business all over the world with their carbon inventories. Helping with mitigating environmental impacts and expanding consciousness on our role for caring for planet Earth. marguerite tyrell

In 1972, Marguerite left her very first yoga class feeling energized and rejuvenated physically and calm and centered mentally. Intrigued, she continued classes and enrolled in yoga teacher training to learn more about this amazing magical modality. Never intending to teach yoga, she began sharing with others who showed interest. This lead eventually to renting a dance studio and teaching classes.

After receiving classical yoga training in 1972, Marguerite has continued on the yoga path continually yearning to learn and understand more about the body-mind-spirit connection. Most of her
training has been the Iyengar method which focuses on attention to alignment with the use of props, and conscious use of breath to facilitate natural opening and release of the body.. She has taught
private and group classes at exclusive woman’s clubs in Boston, San Diego, and at the posh Golden Door in Escondido. Since 1998 she has taught at the San Diego YMCA and two yoga studios. When Covid hit, she shifted to teaching outdoor classes in a park at the request of her long time students.

robin christ

Robin "Maa" Christ is a devoted yogini, movement artist, and spiritual guide whose life has been shaped by over five decades of immersive practice. Initiated into Surat Shabd Yoga (the Yoga of Sound and Light) in 1974, her path seamlessly bridges inner stillness and embodied expression. A former ballet dancer and teacher, she later wove her love for sacred movement into yoga, culminating in her signature "Dancing Light Yoga"—a lyrical fusion of classical Indian dance, ballet, and traditional asana.

As certified Experienced Anusara Yoga Teacher (ECAT), Robin has led 200-hour teacher trainings for nearly a decade, mentoring her students with warmth and wisdom. Her public classes are a tapestry of storytelling, devotional rituals, and meditative flow, closing with communal kirtan to honor yoga’s Bhakti roots. At the heart of her teaching is a reverence for yoga’s philosophical depths, inviting students to experience asana as a "moving prayer" and a gateway to the eternal Self.

Now in her 70s, Robin continues to innovate, offering "Sweet Saturday" and "Sacred Sunday" sessions at Ocean Beach’s Reunify Yoga Shala—where dynamic movement, dharma talks, and puja ceremonies converge. Her work is a testament to the transformative power of uniting spirit and form, tradition and creativity, discipline and joy.
